It has finally been showcased: H&Ms new designer collaboration collection! This time they have teamed up with Kenzo, the French luxury fashion house. Diversity is the theme behind the collection designed by creative directors Carol Lim and Humberto Leon. This means that there should be something out there for everyone, given the diverse student body at the LSE.
The theme of diversity is clearly expressed through the campaign’s diverse ambassadors, who range from age, looks, and occupation. There are the models Iman Abdulmajid and Chloe Sevigny; actress Rosario Dawson; musician and composer Riyuchi Sakamoto; activist Xiuhtezcatl Martinez; hip-hop artist Chance The Rapper; and rapper Suboi.
The Runway Show was anything but ordinary with models and the audience dancing! This was, of course, inspired by Kenzo Takada’s own shows back in the 70s and 80s which often looked like real parties with dancers and performers.
(You can take a 16 minute study break and enjoy the show by watching the clip at the end of this post!)
The collection is filled with animal prints in various colours, all sorts of bold patters and completely crazy clothing combinations! In short, if you want to stand out this year, rebel against dark autumn colours or just have fun why not invest in a piece from this talked-about, soon-to-come Kenzo X H&M collection?
The Kenzo X H&M collection lands in 250 selected stores worldwide, as well as online, on November 3rd.
